OX AND CATTLE GALLSTONES

 The product (Gallstone) is a clay-like solid substance found in the gallbladder of a matured cow or oxen. It is about the size of a peanut and can beas big as a pigeon egg.
      At times, they could be as big as ordinary eggs and can weigh between 15 and 25 grams, when fully dried the weight drops by about 40% and the colour darkens.

Presentation

   Localisation : Gallstones develop inside a number of bovined diet. They are mainly found in the gallbladder. The bovine race is quite widespread, it includes,depending on the country : cows, sheep, goat, etc.
Size/Weight : Gallstones look like mostly they are like pigeon eggs, with an average weight of 10 grams.

Uses
Bovine gallstones are used in pharmacopeia. They are used in medicine for their sedative,
antipyretic and anti-inflamatory properties.
Other uses of
Gallstone include;
i. It helps the liver function well
ii It improves blood flow in the circulating system
iii. It cures ulcers and boil.
iv. It improves impotence
v. It reduces heart toxins
COLLECTION AND STORAGE
After the purchase of wet Gallstones, perforated containers (e.g. bournvita, Milo tins)
cushioned with white toilet roll  are used to convey the Gallstones to our company office for further processing. The toilet roll will act as a buffer to prevent breakages of the material while the
perforation on the tin will act as a kind of ventilation for the Gallstones. We believe that if there is
insufficient ventilation for the Gallstones, it might cause it to grow mould which will permanently destroy and make the Gallstones valueless. Hence, our expertise ensures maximum safety in handling the product throughout the processing stages.
After processing, our product is packed into small containers of 100g each for easy export.
